Dear Mr. Wang:
A recent vacational trip to China has changed my life career plan for good and all;
joining the world’s fastest growing economy and contributing to its further
advancement are now my top priority. I should be obliged if you could tell me
whether there is currently any attorney position available in your firm. I would
appreciate the opportunity to put my skills and experience to assist Chinese
companies in securing foreign direct investments, especially those from the United
States.
I have extensive experience in these areas: bridging investment relations, recruiting
influential personalities and officials, designing motivational marketing materials, and
creating stronger local image and greater positive awareness. My past successes
include:
l Having helped China Datanet from Beijing listed in the New York Stock
Exchange, raising capital in excess of 400 million U.S. dollars.
l As an of counsel for a humanitarian organization, having attracted more
than 200 distinguished Americans to support Humanitarian America, leading
to a $4.9-million increase in donations in one year.
My qualifications also include a Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) degree from
Northwestern University Law School in Chicago, a student editor of Northwestern
Law Review from 1996 to 1998, and active member of California as well as
