RE: China Gold Eagle Co., Ltd. v. Providence Group, Inc.
Dear Mr. Smith:
I would like to personally thank you for choosing Zhang, Wang & Lee to represent you
in the above referenced matter. Such representation will cover litigating the case in
the People’s Court but excluding any appellate work.
The fee arrangement, as agreed upon, will be based on hourly rates. Our partners’
hourly rates range from RMB 4,000.00 (USD $500.00) to RMB 2,500.00 (USD
$300.00); associates range from RMB 2,500.00 (USD $300.00) to RMB 1,200.00
(USD $150.00); and paralegals range from RMB 1,200.00 (USD $150.00) to RMB
400.00 (USD $50.00), depending on their respective level of experience.
A retainer in the amount of USD $200,000.00 is required up front. This retainer
shall be replenished to reach said level upon our request.
The firm bills on a monthly basis for any disbursements and any fees due.
Disbursements include: photocopying, long distance charges, courier services,
computer online services, court costs, travel, and all other charges or costs necessary
for prosecuting the case. Payment is due upon receipt of our invoice. Failure to
make timely payments may, upon notice, result in the firm’s withdrawal as your
counsel in this matter.
The members of the team that will be working on your matter are listed in the
attached roster, their qualifications and experiences outlined. Please feel free to
call any member of our group for assistance.
