Re: China Promotion (U.S.A), Inc. – Final Demand before Legal Action
Dear Mr. Campaign Director:
Your consistent unresponsiveness to attempts to resolve your delinquent account in
an amicable manner has severely eroded our patience and left us with only one
option.
China Promotion generously agreed to forgive USD $57,000.00 in fees owed if you
would simply reimburse the USD $21,000.00 in expense money also owed. You
were contacted on numerous occasions both by China Promotion and our firm in
regard to this resolution. On each of these occasions, the most recent being May 1,
2006, our demands for payment were disregarded and your promises to pay broken.
As you may or may not be aware, under U.S. federal election law, goods or services
paid for by a corporation such as China Promotion on behalf of a candidate for
federal office MUST be reimbursed by the candidate’s campaign. Otherwise, these
expenditures could be deemed an illegal corporate contribution, which may
endanger and put China Promotion in high risks.
Hence, China Promotion must take the necessary steps to protect itself from any
possible allegation of violating U.S. federal election laws.
Taking into account our diminishing patience, your continued indifference to your
obligations, and the U.S. Federal Election Commission’s rules, this is our FINAL
demand for your payment of the USD $21,000.00 in out-of-pocket expenses owed by
your campaign to China Promotion. If we receive this payment, we are prepared to
forgo the remaining balance due.
We will accept nothing less than payment in full as set forth in this demand,
which must be received NO LATER THAN JUNE 15, 2006.
I am enclosing a copy of the Complaint, which will be filed in United States District
Court for the District of Columbia if such payment is not received by said date.

You will note that it asks the Court for the full amount (USD $78,000.00), plus
accrued interest of USD $7,814.00, owed by your campaign to China Promotion
(U.S.A.), Inc.
