Dear Ms. Watson:
Thank you for returning the signed settlement documents to my office so promptly.
Pursuant to your request and authorization, I am enclosing my firm’s escrow check in
the amount of USD $5,000.00 representing your share of the settlement proceeds in
the above-referenced matter. Also enclosed is an itemization of your medical bills in
China that I paid out of the settlement proceeds pursuant to your authorization.
Please bear in mind that we have agreed to keep the fact of, and amount of, the
settlement confidential. You should not reveal it to anyone; otherwise, the
settlement could be jeopardized. If you have any questions about the settlement, or
the confidentiality aspects of the settlement, please don’t hesitate to call.
